Data Deletion
Last updated: 20 August 2026
Mailmeter is a customer-lifecycle marketing platform for businesses, operated by Sabbagh Consultancy Services FZ-LLC ("Mailmeter", "we", "us"). This page explains how data held in Mailmeter can be deleted — both for our customers, who control their own workspace, and for individuals whose contact information a Mailmeter customer holds.
Mailmeter processes contact data on behalf of its business customers. For contact data that a customer brings into or collects through the Service, the customer is the data controller and Mailmeter acts as the data processor. If you submitted your information to a business — for example, through that business's sign-up form on Meta (Facebook or Instagram), a website form, or another channel — that business decides how your data is used, and you can ask either the business or Mailmeter to delete it, as described below.
For Mailmeter customers
As a Mailmeter customer, you control the data in your workspace and can act on it at any time from within the application:
- Disconnect a connected integration. Disconnect any connected source — for example, Meta Lead Ads — from that integration's settings in the app. Disconnecting stops any further data from flowing into your workspace. Contacts already imported remain until you remove them.
- Delete your entire workspace. Delete the workspace from your workspace settings. This permanently removes all contacts, lists, segments, campaigns, sequences, journeys, forms, and email templates in that workspace. This action cannot be undone.
- Remove specific contacts. Manage individual contacts in the Contacts area of the app, or email us at
privacy@mailmeter.appand we will remove the records you identify.
You remain responsible, as the data controller, for honouring deletion requests you receive directly from the individuals in your workspace.
For individuals
If a business holds your information in Mailmeter — for example, because you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, a website form, or another channel — and you want that information deleted, you have two routes:
- Ask the business directly. The business that collected your information controls it and can delete your contact record from its Mailmeter workspace. This is usually the fastest route.
- Email Mailmeter. Write to
privacy@mailmeter.appand tell us the email address or phone number you want removed. We will locate the associated records, delete them, and confirm completion within 30 days. If we need to verify your identity or your connection to the data before acting, we will tell you what we need.
If your information reached Mailmeter through a business's Meta Lead Ads form, the same two routes apply.
What deletion covers
When a workspace or a contact is deleted, or when we action a deletion request, we remove the contact record and the personal information it holds from the active Service. Deletion also propagates to our routine backups on our standard backup-retention cycle. We may retain limited information where we are legally required to keep it — for example, the minimum record needed to honour an unsubscribe (so that a removed address is not accidentally re-added) or to meet tax, accounting, or abuse-prevention obligations. We retain only what applicable law requires, and only for as long as it requires.
